August 2024 News

So much to talk about in our newsletter this month!
First of all, an opportunity to thank our dedicated staff on Age Care Employee Day. Write them a note and we’ll display it during our special function on 7th August! Download the template here.

In other news…
Of course the Olympics feature strongly in our activities this month, and we don’t need much of an excuse for a party, so we’ll celebrate Horses’ Birthday! So much more to talk about, so please read all about it, along with Sophia’s report in our newsletter here…

July 2024 News

A little later then usual, but here is this month’s newsletter! As you can read, we said some goodbyes and experienced some challenges in June. But we’ve had some terrific activities and look forward to some great events as you can see in our July newsletter and calendar! Download it here…

Redevelopment of Abel Tasman Village

Updated meeting venue: text of a letter by the Board of the village regarding re-development (also download below):

Dear Residents of ATV, families of ATV residents, staff of ATV & Community,

Note change of venue: the meetings will now be held at the Chester Hill Library

As part of the redevelopment plan for the Abel Tasman Village, the state government
requires the Abel Tasman Village to hold stake holder & community engagement forums,
explaining our plans for the future of the site.

On Tuesday the 28th of November 2023, two sessions will be conducted at Chester Hill Library (12 Chester Hill Rd, Chester Hill) from 10am to 11:30am, the second
session from 5pm till 6:30pm.

The following consultants/representatives will be in attendance to answer any questions
regarding the redevelopment.

• Connecting with Country Consultant
• Architect
• Town Planner
• Project Manager
• ATV Board Representative
• ATV Operations Representative
