AusAlert Test

On Monday 27 July 2026, at 2:00 pm AEST (1:30 pm ACST), the Australian Government will conduct a national test of the new AusAlert emergency warning system.

Compatible mobile devices will emit a loud siren-like sound, even if set to silent or do not disturb.

These could be natural disasters such as bushfires, floods, cyclones and tsunamis, as well as events like public health emergencies, security threats or biosecurity incidents.

This category is for any individual who enters the aged care system under the full
regulations of the new program.

This category covers individuals who entered the system during the transition period after the initial announcement but before the new system fully begins.

This category is for those who were already engaged with the existing system prior
to the major legislative changes being announced.
