MEMO TO: ATV RESIDENT FAMILIES
FROM: MANAGEMENT TEAM
DATE: 30th September 2022
SUBJECT: ATV WEEKEND VISITATION UPDATE
Hello to you all,
This is an update on the COVID-19 outbreak at Abel Tasman Village. As of today’s date, (30/9/22), ATV has 7 (SEVEN) confirmed residents who have tested positive for COVID-19. Unfortunately, we are in OUTBREAK mode until further notice. All residents are doing well and are having communication updates from staff. The Outbreak Team has been contacted by The Commonwealth Dept of Aged Care who went through in detail ATV’s response so far and was very happy. Thanks again to our fabulous staff.
We have conducted RAT and PCR testing for all residents in the facility. Not all PCR results have returned. Visitation is still allowed at ATV as of tomorrow 1/10/22.
You must strictly comply with PPE requirements given to you by ATV screening staff for the area you are visiting. This may mean that you will need to wear full PPE.
Until further review on by the Outbreak Management Team, the zones remain as below:
The RED zones (resident isolation) include:
Units 112-140, units 4a/b and 5a/b
The ORANGE zones include:
Camellia: rooms 101 – 110
Link building: all units except for 4 a/b and 5a/b
ATV will have no group activities, outings or communal dining until further notice. Isolated residents are receiving some one-on-one visits from the lifestyle team and volunteers.
We are hoping that the outbreak will be short-lived and we will keep you updated. We appreciate your assistance in your communications with your loved ones to reassure them and we thank you and we thank you and appreciate your patience and support at this time.
With thanks,
Abel Tasman Management
