Update 20 August 2022

MEMO TO:                  ATV RESIDENT FAMILIES

FROM:                         MANAGEMENT TEAM

DATE:                          20th Aug 2022

SUBJECT:                     ATV WEEKEND VISITATION UPDATE

Hello to you all,

This is an update on the COVID 19 Situation at Abel Tasman Village. As at today’s date (20/8/22), ATV still has 5 (five) confirmed residents who have tested positive for COVID 19. Unfortunately, we are still in an OUTBREAK until further notice.

The RAT for all residents has returned a negative result, but, not all PCR results have returned. we are happy to downgrade zoning further to a RED and GREEN zone.

The Red zone has now been reduced to the following rooms: 6A, 6B, 7, 8A, 8B, 17, 18, 23, 24, 135 ,136, 137, 138, 139 & 140.

The remainder of the facility is categorised into a GREEN zone. RAT tests on arrival back to Abel Tasman will be mandatory. As there are still multiple zones onsite, the staff will assist you with PPE instructions during any visits to these zones.

ATV will have no group activities, outings or communal dining until further notice, but isolated residents are receiving some one-on-one visits from the lifestyle team.

Visitation is restricted to TWO adults and no children at this point. All visits must be in the resident’s rooms.

We are hoping that the outbreak will be short-lived and we will keep you updated. We appreciate your assistance in your communications with your loved ones to reassure them and we thank you and we thank you and appreciate your patience and support at this time.

With thanks,

Abel Tasman Management
