MEMO TO: ATV RESIDENT FAMILIES
FROM: MANAGEMENT TEAM
DATE: 5th Aug 2022
SUBJECT: ATV WEEKEND VISITATION UPDATE
Hello to you all,
This is an update on the COVID 19 Situation at Abel Tasman Village. As at today’s date
(5/8/22), ATV has four confirmed residents who have tested positive for COVID 19. This
means we are still classified as in an OUTBREAK.
We are still waiting on yesterday’s PCR test results for some of the Main building residents.
These results will affect our visiting guidelines over the coming weekend and we will advise
you again tomorrow regarding this.
At the moment our Saturday visits booked for the MAIN BUILDING (Units 112-140) are
POSTPONED until all PCR results are in for those residents. If you have booked this Sat 6 th
Aug, we ask you to please re book another time on our visiting page. If that booking is not
available, please call the RN on duty to advise.
ATV will have no group Activities or communal dining until further notice but isolated
residents are receiving some one on one visits from the lifestyle team.
We are hoping that the outbreak will be short-lived and we will keep you updated.
There are multiple RED zones onsite. The staff will assist you with PPE instructions during
any visits to these zones.
Visitation is restricted to TWO adults and no children at this point. All visits must be in the
resident’s rooms.
Outings can now booked through our Bookings Page for all residents outside RED zone
areas. RAT tests on arrival back to Abel Tasman will be mandatory.
We appreciate your assistance in your communications with your loved ones to reassure
them and we thank you and we thank you and appreciate your patience and support at this
time.
With thanks,
Abel Tasman Management
