FROM: MANAGEMENT TEAM
DATE: 30 th July 2022
SUBJECT: ATV COVID UPDATE

Hello to you all,
This is an update on the COVID 19 Situation at Abel Tasman Village. As at today’s date
(31/7/22), ATV has two (2) confirmed residents who have tested positive for COVID 19. This
means we are classified as in an OUTBREAK. The two residents are in different areas of the
facility so this means we have some restrictions in place on moving around the village and
for dining. We will update you asap throughout each day. Thank you for your
understanding.
The two positive residents are receiving anti viral treatment and are being monitored and
doing well currently. Please be assured that if your loved one testes positive, you will be
notified.
The outbreak means there are restriction to our visiting hours, please see the details below:
ATV will have no group Activities until further notice.

Residents in the GREEN and YELLOW Zones will be able to move around the facility except
to enter any RED Zone or the dining hall.
Residents in the RED Zones will remain in isolation and all meals will be delivered to them.
Residents in the RED zone who have not tested positive will be also isolated for 7 days and
then reviewed.
Residents who have tested positive will remain in isolation for 10 days.
We are hoping that the outbreak will be short lived and we will keep you updated.
