Hello to you all.
Just as we thought we were out of the woods, we have today had a resident test positive to COVID 19 through a rapid antigen test. We have contacted the Public Health Unit and at this stage they are not declaring a formal outbreak. We are currently conducting rapid antigen tests on all residents. The results of those tests will determine our actions moving forward.
At this stage, we have no alternative but to isolate residents in the immediate area of the positive resident and lockdown the site until we have more information. We understand how disappointing this will be for residents and family members. We too are incredibly disappointed to have to cancel visiting before it even began.
