Update 12 August 2022

MEMO TO: ATV RESIDENT FAMILIES
FROM: MANAGEMENT TEAM
DATE: 12 th Aug 2022
SUBJECT: ATV OUTBREAK UPDATE

Good afternoon,

This is an update on the COVID 19 Outbreak at Abel Tasman Village. As of Monday 15/8/22
we will be out of our current COVID Outbreak and will be able to resume regular visitation
from friends and families, open the dining hall for all meals and resume our fabulous
Activities program. Thank you again for your understanding and patience through this
difficult period.

A total of only 4 residents tested positive during this outbreak which is remarkable given the
nature of this new strain and the number of people reporting in NSW with Positive COVID-
19 cases. This is a result of the uptake and compliance of our residents as well ATV staff with
their COVID-19 vaccinations and boosters and also adhering to strict outbreak management
and infection control practices at ATV over the past few weeks.

ATV is very proud of our staff, residents and families for minimising the COVID outbreak
from further spread through the facility and in particular we thank our fabulous clinical
team led by Harry.

With thanks as always

THE ABEL TASMAN MANAGEMENT TEAM
